Arun Verma, Country Manager Singapore at Shopify

Since graduating from McMaster University with a BA in Engineering Physics & Management, Arun has gone on to carve out niches in a range of industries, including travel, venture capital, ecommerce, and telecommunications. While working all over the globe, he worked in a variety of countries, including South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the United States. Currently, he is Shopify’s Singapore Country Manager based in Singapore. The role offers a unique opportunity to help grow a company in a region exploding onto the digital stage.

Chin Xin-Ci, Marketing Strategy Consultant

Chin is an entrepreneur and marketing strategy consultant. She has 8 years of email marketing, content marketing, and conversion optimization experience. In 2013 she cofounded Watch Over Me, a personal safety service, which was acquired by Carousell in 2016. She is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence with Quest Ventures and the Digital Marketing Instructor @ NEXT Academy. At the Online Marketing Bootcamp, she will talk about how email marketing brings return and helps you nurture and engage your contacts with every interaction they have with your brand.

Sam Choong, Head of Strategy & Growth, Business Development at MAXIS

Sam currently leads strategy & growth within the enterprise team at Maxis. An entrepreneur at heart, he spent his early years successfully bootstrapping his ecommerce startup in Australia. Sam’s experiences range from total supply chain at Nestle, to ecosystem and venture building at MaGIC, to policymaking at the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia. He has scaled multi-million dollar businesses through digital and is extremely passionate about creating sustainable growth in organizations.
